Start-up and Grow is a free service for anyone living in the Bolsover District, and for businesses based in Bolsover District. It provides help to people planning on starting a new business, to existing businesses that may be struggling and to businesses that are looking to grow.
Delivered by Clowne Enterprise, it is a local business support service which does exactly what it says on the tin. One of their coaches, Jo, Nigel or Paul will be able to come and talk to you about what you are looking to achieve and to help you to plan ways of doing that. Clowne Enterprise has been been doing this successfully in the Bolsover District for over 15 years.
Whether you are looking for ongoing one-to one coaching, specific training, support in applying for funding or building connections with other local businesses, the Start-Up and Grow service can help you to face the challenges ahead. The support is local, flexible, independent and completely free for Bolsover based businesses and residents.

The D2N2 Growth Hub runs a wide range of events and workshops, reflecting the current business climate and needs.
FSB is the UK’s leading business campaigner, focused on delivering change which supports smaller businesses to grow and succeed.
The Association of Town & City Management (ATCM) is a not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to promoting the vitality and viability of town and city centres. It has 900 members including key stakeholders in town and city centres across the UK and Ireland.
The University of Derby has a support network for local businesses including training, funding and graduate internships.
The Reskill and Recover project is run by West Nottinghamshire College and provides training to reskill and upskill employees of small and medium sized businessess in the Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire areas.
